Born and raised in Kenora, Tyler graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas high school before leaving town to pursue a higher education. He received a B.A. from the University of Calgary in 2003 and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 2007. Tyler returned to Kenora and joined the firm as an articling student in 2007 and has remained with the firm as an associate lawyer.
Tyler is active in the community and enjoys sports and the outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping. He is currently an executive member of the Keewatin Curling Club Management Board and is involved with the Shaw Kenora Bass International and the Dragon Boat races.
