Civil Litigation

Environmental Law
In the early 1990's, the firm recognized the growing importance of a wide range of environmental issues and anticipated some wouId impact on our diverse clientele. We have been attending courses to remain current in all aspects of this important field. We regularly represent our clients' interests in regard to all environmental issues, be it on the purchase and sale of residential or commercial real estate, the acquisition or sale of a business or commercial resort or defending environmental charges in Ontario courts.
Family Law
We handle all types of domestic cases, including custody, child support, divorce, equitable distribution of properties, alimony, post-separation support, adoptions, and child protection law. We also regularly draft separation agreements, property settlements, pre-nuptial agreements, and consent judgments.
Domestic issues, particularly custody and child support, are normally complex and cannot be resolved by a simple phone call. We strongly recommend a face-to-face appointment to discuss such issues in detail. We can give you some good advice which will make the transition easier, less costly and hopefully less traumatic.
