Associate Family Law Lawyer

Well established firm located in Kenora (Northwestern Ontario) is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of recent experience practicing family law in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of knowledge of family law procedure and the ability to manage a diverse range of client matters from intake to completion.

Full-Time Legal Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time

Practice Areas: Real Estate, Estates, Corporate Law

Start Date: Immediate Opening

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across multiple practice areas—Real Estate, Estates, and Corporate Law—depending on your qualifications and experience.

You will provide comprehensive support to all lawyers in the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and manage legal documents and correspondence
  • Assist with real estate transactions, including title searches and closing documentation
  • Support estate planning and administration processes
  • Coordinate corporate filings, minute books, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain client files and manage deadlines
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organize case materials
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the listed practice areas preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
